One of my favorite ways to maintain harmony day to day is through staying organized. When you have a million things to do, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and want to crawl into bed, pull the covers over your head, and not come out until the weekend – yep, I know the feeling. I’ve found that using organizational tools has dramatically changed the way I organize and structure my days. When you have all that you need to accomplish written down in front of you, it’s far less intimidating than having your to-do list running through your mind. To help bring some harmony to your days, I offer you some of my tried and true organizational tools. Feel free to print ’em out, mark ’em up, and organize your life.
Organizational Tool #1: Harmonious To-do List
I am a list fanatic. Writing down what I need to tackle helps me to prioritize my day and not forget anything important. I’ve included free PDF downloads of two different to-do lists, one colorful and the other black and white – depending on your style. Feel free to print one of these babies out and jot down your to-do list to keep your day harmonized.
Organizational Tool #2: Harmonious Day Planner
Sometimes you need a more regimented list to track all that you have packed into your little 24-hour day. For a more detailed list, I offer you free day planner print outs! I’ve included both a black & white and colorful version. The day planner breaks your day down by the hour (6:00am – 9:00pm) so that you can keep track of appointments, classes, errands, you name it!
Organizational Tool #3: Harmonious Packing List
You’re all settled in on your flight when all of a sudden your heart drops into the pit of your stomach – you forgot your favorite pair of Tory Burch sandals that you’ve been planning to wear with that one outfit for weeks. The awful feeling of forgetting something for a trip you’ve been planning for months is not something anyone should have to go through. Ensure you’ve packed everything your heart desires using one of these handy packing lists. For more packing help, check out my packing tips post.
I hope that these tools help give you a sense of harmony when you organize your day. What helps you to stay organized? Share in the comments below!
