Jewelry is so decorative and pretty on its own – why keep it hidden inside of a jewelry box? Decorate your space by displaying your jewelry for all to see with DIY jewelry stands. Keep reading for a step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own stands.
Step #1: Gather Your Supplies
For this chic DIY, you’ll need:
- Two decorative plates
- Two candlestick holders
- A glue gun
Helpful tip: If your candlestick holders or decorative plates have stubborn adhesive left behind from price stickers, simply take a dampened sponge and rub the residue in circular motions – this should remove it, leaving your items clean and stick-free.
Step #2: Let’s Put it Together
Begin by heating up your glue gun. Lay your plates upside-down on your workspace. I decided to use two different-sized plates, but this can be done with same-sized plates as well.
Apply glue to the top of one of your candlestick holders, and press down in the center of one of your plates. Proceed to do the same using your other candlestick holder and decorative plate.
Once your holders and plates are attached, apply glue to the base of the candlestick holder that you plan to place as the top tier of your jewelry stand, and press the holder into the center of the bottom plate.
Step #3: Add Some Jewels & Display
You technically can put whatever you’d like on the stand – makeup, hair accessories, small trinkets, you name it! I wanted to display some of my sparkling gems, so I opted to load up my tiers with earrings, rings, necklaces, and a bracelet.
